Lu Wei is a ‘Provincial Level’ artist in contemporary porcelain art from Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Provence, China. Lu Wei was born in 1967 in Yixin City, Jiangsu Province. China He graduated from the Art Department of the Jingdezhen Ceramics University. He was awarded the Literature Master Degree. He on the staff of the Jingdezhen Ceramic Research Institute in Jingdezhen. He is the member of the Chinese Antique Porcelain Institute and the Chinese Craft & Arts institute. He is the vice secretary of the Art Collectors Friendship Society. He is a CPPCC committee member of Jingdezhen.

Lu Wei works have won more than 50 awards. His accomplishments and works have been published in newspapers, magazines and books such as “Reference News”, “Ta Kung Pao News”, “Jingdezhen Porcelains”, “China Porcelain Collection”, “Jingdezhen Porcelain Collection”, “The Collection”, just to name a few.
One of his the largest work, “Bao Lin Zun” was created for the Peoples Hall of the Jiangxi Province in 1997.
His the largest vase “Thousand Artists Signatures’”was collected by the Archives of Modern Chinese Literature in 1999.
His books “Lu Wei’s Art Porcelain” and “Jingdezhen Fine Art Porcelain Collection” were published in 1999.
His personal collection was on exhibition in Shanghai in 2002.
